My Vote My Health Campaign
My Vote My Health was launched by AltaMed Health Services in 2018 to mobilize community health center patients, staff, providers, and communities served by community health centers in civic engagement. This Integrated Civic Engagement Model seeks to create community health center civic engagement hubs throughout California by linking partner organizations.

Connection between Civic Engagement & Health
- Health and Democracy Index – When communities participate in voting, they influence policy decisions that impact their health. This analysis compares 12 public health indicators and voter turnout.
- Vot-ER – Vot-ER integrates voter registration into the health care delivery system under the principle that participation in the democratic process leads to positive health outcomes.
