Emergency Centralized Response Center (ECRC)
Emergency Centralized Response Center (ECRC): In September 2024, the LA County Board of Supervisors established the Emergency Centralized Response Center (ECRC) to coordinate homeless services across the county and its 88 cities. The ECRC oversees daily operations for more than 150 outreach teams and supports efforts like Inside Safe and Pathway Home. As an in-person hub, it brings together multiple county departments—including DMH, DHS, LAHSA, and others—to streamline referrals and connect unsheltered individuals to services. Referrals to the ECRC come directly from Council Offices, Street Outreach teams, and Field Medicine providers.
