National Health Center Week 2021 

NACHC’s National Health Center Week (NHCW) The Chemistry for Strong Communities will take place Sunday, August 8 to Saturday, August 14. NHCW brings awareness to communities and elected officials about the mission and accomplishments of health centers over the past five decades. NACHC encourages health centers to engage the community, partners, and elected officials in your celebrations.  

Each day of NHCW is dedicated to a particular focus area. Focus days are available to enhance events, help provide structure, and maximize the national impact of our message.

Saturday August 7

  • Wilmington Community Clinic – 9th Annual Drive Thru Health Fair. 10am-1pm at 470 N. Hawaiian Ave, Wilmington, CA 90744.

Monday, August 9:

  • Saban Community Clinic – Seats & Feets: Undergarments & sock drive for Saban’s unhoused patients. Donations will be distributed to Saban’s unhoused patients on this day.   • Watts Healthcare – Annual Children’s Health Fair, 10am-2pm. There will be free school supplies, games, prizes, and health screenings for parents and children to enjoy.

CCALAC National Health Center Week 2021 Toolkit
The toolkit includes ideas for participating in NHCW, even if you don’t plan to host an event. Use social media to celebrate your staff and advocate for health centers! During the event be sure to use the hashtags #NHCW21 and #ValueCHCs in your social media posts.
