Impacts of Project Homekey and COVID-19 Vaccination Rollout on People Experiencing Homelessness

CCALAC and United Way of Greater LA are hosting the “Impacts of Project Homekey and COVID-19 Vaccination Rollout on People Experiencing Homelessness” webinar where we’ll hear from LA County DHS and DPH, LA County CEO’s Office, LA City, and other partners to learn about the current COVID-19 landscape, including Homekey and vaccine rollout efforts as it impacts people experiencing homelessness and explore opportunities for partnership between health care and homeless system partners to drive new efforts forward.
Purpose:
- Share most recent Homekey updates from LA County and City agencies regarding implementation timeline.
- Consider opportunities for the health care system (i.e. clinics, providers, MCOs, funders etc.) to support needs at Homekey.
- Learn about county plans for engaging people experiencing homelessness for vaccine distribution, especially those who qualify to receive vaccines in Phase 1B.
- Explore how health care system partners can support and inform vaccine distribution planning efforts.
