About the Health IT Summit
The annual Health IT Summit brings together health care leaders and partners for a full day of learning, connecting, and generating ideas to improve patient care through HIT. Summit sessions will cover cybersecurity, AI health care technology, data exchange, and more! Attendees include community health center executives and directors, as well as IT, health IT, quality improvement, and clinical staff.

Request for Proposals
We are searching for compelling presentations for our 5th Annual Health IT Summit. The event will be held at The California Endowment on Friday, September 27, 2024. If you have an idea for a presentation or panel that delves into successful strategies, best practices and lessons learned, real-life use cases, and experiences gained from inventive approaches to improving health care through the implementation of technology, we want to hear from you! Please reach out to Candice Rowland at crowland@ccalac.org if you are interested in speaking at this event.
We are looking for 70-minute panels, 30-minute condensed tips and tricks sessions, and 50-minute sessions that address the following topics:
- AI/Machine Learning Health Care Technology
- Cybersecurity (establishing awareness programs, breach remediation experience, etc.)
- CalAIM and PHMI Technology Implementation and Insights
- Interoperability/Data Exchange (HIE, data exchange framework, information blocking, etc.)
- Data Analytics and Reporting (UDS+ preparedness, etc.)
- Digital divide (addressing the digital divide, digital navigator programs, effectively using telehealth/RPM tools, etc.)
Please note that any vendors interested in presenting at the Health IT Summit must partner with a community health center, who should be designated as the lead presenter, and provide only educational content without a sales component.
