Enrollment Refresher Training

Health center outreach and enrollment staff are invited to join their peers for an in-service session led by Maternal Child Health Access’ expert training team. This session is intended for experienced enrollers and will provide an overview of the following: 

• Medi-Cal program eligibility (MAGI and Non-MAGI) and annual redeterminations review 
• Covered California open enrollment, program changes and eligibility update for DACA recipients  
• Medi-Cal Access Program review 
• Kaiser Permanente Community Health Care Program eligibility changes  
• Medicare policy updates 
• Immigration concerns: Public Charge and Medi-Cal data sharing  

 By attending this course, participants will be able to: 

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of policy changes impacting Medi-Cal eligibility and coverage.
• Gain tools to more effectively advocate for the communities they serve.
• Learn strategies to identify and address common enrollment and access issues impacting their patients/clients.
