The EM Workgroup allows member clinics to collaborate with other clinic staff and external partners to exchange best practices and share information that improves clinic emergency response capabilities and promotes resiliency. Participating clinics receive guidance on the development and fine-tuning of emergency operations plans, hazard vulnerability analyses, business continuity plans, drills and exercises. Attendees also receive information and status updates about real-life incidents to garner support for further preparedness in community clinics and to help Emergency Management Program members stay informed about current events.
