About the Summit
The pandemic has forced health centers to transform how they provide care. Health centers are connecting with patients where they’re at, focusing on relevant clinical and SDoH data, and have pivoted to provide equitable virtual care to their patients. The increased use of technology in healthcare means cybersecurity is more important than ever and is no longer just the responsibility of IT staff. Instead, health IT has become an organization-wide priority, essential in providing quality patient care.
Join the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 for the 2nd Annual Health Information Technology Summit, a one-day virtual forum to share and exchange knowledge, experience, and resources to solve complex issues through the innovative use of technology. Summit sessions will cover Cybersecurity, Remote Patient Monitoring, Telehealth, Patient Engagement, and Interoperability. Attendees include community health center executives and directors, as well as quality improvement, EMR, IT, and clinical staff. Together, we will explore the theme “Transforming Care through Health IT.”

About Us
CCALAC is a 501 (c)(3) organization representing 65 member community health centers that operate more than 350 primary care sites in LA County. Our members provide vital health care services to more than 1.7 million patients, the majority of whom are low income, and are either publicly insured or uninsured.
Community health centers are non-profit, state-licensed organizations that provide high-quality primary care, including medical, dental, and mental health services, to underserved communities disproportionately impacted by poverty and systemic racism. Additional services that can be found within some health centers include pharmacy, x-ray, radiology, optometry, obstetrics, specialty referrals, and other medical services.
