Strategic Planning Training for Community Health Centers

$500Community health center leaders set the tone for planning and culture. This session will present a proven strategic planning methodology that has been utilized in multiple health centers throughout the country. The methodology supports C-Suite members in establishing the tools to create equitable and data-driven strategic plans that help fulfill their mission and goals.
As a result of participating, leaders will learn to:
- Structure a productive multidisciplinary strategic planning committee.
- Utilize SWOTs and build consensus effectively.
- Develop hypotheses on the health center’s direction.
- Create measurable goals.
- Create a measurable strategic plan tracking tool.
- Incorporate justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Curt Degenfelder, President, Curt Degenfelder Consulting, Inc.
Curt Degenfelder is a national Healthcare business consultant with 33 years of healthcare experience; 26 years focused on developing financial, operational, and strategic solutions for community health centers (CHCs). Mr. Degenfelder has worked on Alternative Payment Methodologies (APMs) in Oregon, Washington, California, Iowa and Louisiana. Curt performs strategic planning, financial and operational trainings for CHCs, state primary care associations, and NACHC.
Traci Bivens-Davis, Assistant Director of Training and Equity, CCALAC
Traci Bivens-Davis is an experienced nonprofit professional with an over twenty-five-year history of health advocacy. As an Intervention Coach and Trainer, she has taught strategies of Harm Reduction, Reproductive Health, and Psychological Well-Being. Traci is a former Los Angeles County Commissioner who advocates for systemic change that improves the health outcomes of Los Angeles County residents living with complex conditions. As the Assistant Director of Training and Equity at the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC), Traci leads the Justice, Equity, Diversion, and Inclusion (JEDI) Organizational change initiative in addition to supervising the daily operations of the Training Center.
