NextGen User Collaborative: Training for Advanced Clinical Users
The NextGen User Collaborative Training focuses on documentation of virtual visits during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, best practice documentation using existing functionality within NextGen, quality program initiatives and reporting. Review of these areas will allow the organization and team members to have a through understating of best practice documentation and workflow to support both incentive programs as well as clinical documentation.
This training will be held over the course of two days. Please find the agenda below:
DAY 1: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Patient Telehealth Workflow Overview:
Cover Best Practice Workflow for Medicare Preventative and Pediatric – Well Visits in NextGen. Along with Tips and Tricks for documenting, completing orders, etc to ensure all documentation requirements are met.
My Plan Configuration and Utilization:
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to: Utilize the My Custom Plan template and correctly configure the My Custom Plan template using the system/practice templates.
Best practices for making/tracking different event/appointment types:
This course will cover EPM event types, tracking various visit types, and appointment book.
DAY 2: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Telehealth workflows best practices and repurposing staff/new roles defined:
In this course participant will have a deep understanding of tele-health workflows for various visit types. Along with tips and tricks on utilizing staff in new and modified roles.
UDS best charting practices, including Telehealth charting:
This webinar will address Regulatory Reporting news and updates and discuss tips and tricks and tools available to improve the provider’s Reporting
