CCALAC’s Los Angeles County Street Medicine Coordination Workgroup is hosting a training on Higher Levels of Care for Patients Experiencing Homelessness. This training will feature leaders from Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Strategic Network Development Branch, Substance Abuse Prevention and Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Housing for Health Program. Participants will learn about referral pathways street medicine providers can take to get their patients higher levels of care, including specialty substance use disorder services, Home Safe programs such as Enriched Residential Care, as well as other interim housing solutions. The training will take place on Thursday, July 6  from 3:00-4:30pm. Please feel free to invite anyone you think would benefit from this training, not just workgroup members.
