Work keeps getting more complex for everyone, and for people who lead from the middle maybe most of all. There are ways to work with your team that reduce the risk of burnout, help everyone let go of perfectionism, and get better results. Instructor Hunter Gatewood is a social worker, leadership coach, and friend to health centers. He will introduce you to the mindset shifts and a few practical activities to help you feel more relaxed and confident, as you build a team culture that works.

Ideal participants are health center supervisors, managers, and directors who want a clear vision and practical tools to help them lead teams through change and improvement. Perfect for new leaders and for seasoned leaders who want a short learning experience to refresh their ideas and approach to team development.

By participating in this program middle-management community health center leaders will be able to:

  • Develop a clear vision of ideal staff team dynamics, including the values of belonging, trust, and collaborative learning;
  • Practice leadership behaviors that support humility, learning, and ownership; and
  • Understand how to build a humble learning culture within one team or department, safely and respectfully, even when this focus and mindset is different than the norm.

Sessions will be held on June 14, 28, & July 12
