OSHA requires appropriate staff be regularly fit-tested as part of an organization’s Respiratory Protection Program. The Fit-Testing & Basics of Infection Control training will be held virtually and will provide attendees with a basic set of solutions and understanding to be able to construct the framework for an Infection Control Program. The Train-the-Trainer model is designed for health care professionals who will be performing fit-tests at their respective organizations. Participation will include hands-on fit-testing – performed virtually, and participants will receive 1-2 fit-testing kits for their organization (based on their organization size) to train other health center staff.

By the end of the training participants will:

• Understand the basics and elements of a Respiratory Protection Program
• Learn and practice how to fit-test other staff
• Review 3M Fit Test Kits and know its components
