Equitable Compensation and Benefits for the Community Health Center Workforce

August 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Now more than ever, healthcare employers must prepare and plan to ensure workforce satisfaction and gain a competitive edge. Learn how to be an “employer of choice” by creating competitive pay grades and stay far ahead of the minimum wage for California’s healthcare workers. Join experts from Expert Effect and Bolton to discuss how equitable compensation structures both attract and retain staff. Explore dependent coverage options taking advantage of the Family Glitch Fix that went into effect in 2023, and how the plan provides eligibility for state subsidized health insurance coverage to dependents of income qualified full-time employees with group sponsored health insurance through their employer.

By attending this in-person session, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify potential pay disparities in your current workforce;
  • Overview steps to develop or create competitive pay grades;
  • Understand options or opportunities for affordable dependent care for your staff.

Presented by Betsy Johnson and Guillermo Gonzalez, Jr., SHRM-CP, Senior Vice President, Bolton IMA.
