De-escalation and Conflict Mastery

$150Conflict is unavoidable. Conflicts big and small can occur, in our personal or professional lives and for multiple reasons. Whatever the reasons, one thing is true and constant: knowing how to resolve conflicts before they escalate is crucial. This course will give a six-step process participants can use to modify and resolve conflicts of any size. Participants will learn critical conflict resolution skills, including dealing with anger and using the Agreement Frame.
By attending this workshop, attendees will be able to:
- Understand what conflict and conflict resolution mean
- Recognize all 6 phases of the conflict resolution process
- Adapt the process for all types of conflicts
- Break out parts of the process and use those tools to prevent conflict
- Discover effective communication tools, such as the agreement frame and open questions
- Employ on-the-spot anger and stress management techniques from the 5 main styles of conflict resolution
- Effectively address and de-escalate conflicts, using appropriate techniques to deal with the person’s emotions or complaints
- Avoid the common escalation traps in conflicts
