ACEs Aware: Using the Seven Domains of Wellness in Your Practice

May 12, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Complimentary for CCALAC Members

Stress can harm a child’s developing brain and body. The good news is you can lessen the negative impacts of stress. Even when children are stressed, the right kind of support and care can help children bounce back. The research indicates there are seven aspects of a child’s life that, when done well, helped mitigate the effects of ACEs. We call these the seven domains of wellness. This webinar will review each of the seven domains of wellness, and how to use them in practice to help support families experiencing stress.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review the seven domains of wellness
  • Discuss how each domain can counter stress
  • Provide examples of applying each domain to a real-life situation
  • Explain how to use the seven domains in an interaction with a patient family experiencing stress
