Integrated Behavioral Health Pipeline Program

The Integrated Behavioral Health Program prepares second-year Master of Social Work (MSW) students for careers in community health and integrated behavioral healthcare. Students complete a nine-month internship within a community health center where they will support patients and staff. Designed in partnership with Comprehensive Community Health Center, local universities, and CCALAC member health centers, the program provides intensive training and hands-on experience to MSW interns committed to working in community and integrated behavioral health.
Interns will receive didactic trainings on key topics in community health and integrated behavioral healthcare, opportunities for mentorship/shadowing of physician leaders, a cohort of colleagues, and a certificate and stipend of up to $9,000 upon the completion of the program.

Program Timeline:
- Application opens: January 2026
- MSW interns apply and interview for internships at a CCALAC member health center: January – May 2026
- Application closes: April 2026
- Acceptance letters sent: May 2026
- Program orientation: August 2026
- Internship begins: September 2026
- Program ends: May 2027
