Health Center Resources to Achieve Financial Sustainability and Operational Excellence.

CCALAC actively engages and supports Chief Operating Officers (COOs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), Billing Professionals, Managed Care coverage and administration, and Outreach, Enrollment, and Retention Teams through dedicated peer networks that foster collaboration, shared learning, and strategic problem-solving. These networks provide a space for operational and financial leaders and enrollment leads to discuss day-to-day challenges, exchange best practices, and explore strategies to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape impacting community health centers and the patients they serve.

To further support this work, CCALAC maintains dashboards that monitor operational and financial trends across its member network. These tools help identify emerging challenges and opportunities, and guide the development of targeted resources and training to strengthen organizational sustainability.

Additionally, CCALAC leverages strong partnerships with key organizations, including the California Primary Care Association (CPCA), the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), and local community partners, to keep members informed of critical policy updates and regulatory changes. These collaborations enhance CCALAC’s capacity to support health centers in maintaining operational effectiveness, achieving long-term financial sustainability, and ensuring that patients can enroll in and retain insurance coverage while accessing the care and services they need.
