Presenter Biographies:
Chis Neal, VP, National Accounts, Safety Net at Azara Healthcare
Christopher Neal, Vice President of National Accounts for Azara Healthcare, has been involved in large-scale data reporting and analytics programs with both Payer and Provider institutions throughout his career. At a Boston based healthcare consultancy, he joined the community health space by focusing on multi-year strategic roadmaps that address the challenges of Healthcare Reform. He has been heavily involved in program establishment such as Clinically Integrated Network, and Health Center Controlled Network initiatives across much of the US. Chris helped to form Azara Healthcare in 2012 to promote the importance of data reporting and analytics when showcasing community health’s role as the providers of choice and positioning Azara’s clients as respected and dynamic leaders in today’s healthcare ecosystem. Christopher graduated from Union College with a dual degree in English and Economics and a minor in Piano.
Sam Bar, Director of Solutions Engineering at Azara Healthcare.
Samuel Bar, Director of Solutions Engineering, joined Azara in 2014 bringing with him valuable experience from his service in the Peace Corps and a strong background from his prior career in manufacturing process improvement. He was attracted to Azara’s data-centric approach and its mission-driven work for its healthcare safety-net clients. In his previous roles as Implementation Specialist, Implementation Business Team Lead, and Support Manager, Sam utilized his extensive knowledge of Azara’s products and processes to implement tools and advocate for product enhancements that address the needs of both current and future users. As the Director of Solutions Engineering, Sam is responsible for understanding the challenges faced by customers, recognizing their significance to patients, providers, and health plans, and identifying how Azara can effectively address these issues. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University.
