Recruitment Lunch and Learn: Toolkit to Support Health Center Staff Recruitment
Join us for the release of the 2025 CCALAC Recruitment Toolkit. During this hour, you’ll learn and gain access to valuable recruitment resources available to community health centers. Resources will include sample job descriptions, interviewing tips and questions, AI prompts for recruiting, loan repayment and scholarship programs, onboarding and orientation tips, workforce resources and more. This training is ideal for those in workforce and recruitment roles such as recruiters, human resources staff, and those eager to learn more about recruiting health professionals.
At the end of the training, participants will:
- Gain valuable tips on recruiting the next generation of health care professionals.
- Learn about the many resources available to support your recruitment staff.
- Receive access to CCALAC’s Recruitment Toolkit including tips, templates, and other workforce resources.

Instructor Biography:
Alexander (Alex) Gil is CCALAC’s Workforce Recruitment Program Manager. In this capacity he supports workforce initiatives aimed to support recruitment. Alex leads the Human Resources Roundtable, manages the FNP Community Care Residency program, attends career fairs to promote community health center careers, and manages the CCALAC Job Board and Resume Bank. Alex began working at CCALAC in 2016 as the Community HealthCorps Coordinator. Since then, Alex has served in several positions such as Workforce Coordinator, AmeriCorps Program Manager, Workforce Manager, and Assistant Director of Workforce. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Rochester. He is a graduate of the 2020 Cedars-Sinai Managing to Leading Program and the 2023 Integrated Work Emerging Leaders Program.
