Join the CCALAC Video Challenge!
Open April 18 – June 15, 2022
Are you interested in learning how to use video to enhance your advocacy and patient communications, or how you can improve your current video activities, but not sure where to start? We have a resource for you!
CCALAC invites your health center to participate in a two-month video challenge, starting April 18, 2022. The goal of this initiative is to encourage members to utilize new tools and technologies to communicate with patients and/or elected officials. Participating health centers will record a video on a smartphone using our new video creation guide and receive a stipend to support staff time.
The video challenge is open to all CCALAC member health centers who wish to participate. The following outlines what participation entails and criteria that must be met in order to receive the stipend.
- Download and review the new “Lights, Camera, Action! Beginners Guide to Video Development”.
- Determine subject/purpose of your organization’s video and engage relevant staff (e.g., patient education regarding COVID-19 vaccines, advocacy, highlighting the work of your organization on social media, etc.).
- Create your video and post to your organization’s social media platform(s).
- Submit participation form to CCALAC to request stipend no later than June 15, 2022.
Payment for Services
CCALAC will provide a stipend of at least $300 to participating organizations that submit proof of their video creation. Actual stipend amount may vary depending how many organizations participate. Each organization may submit more than one video, but each video must address a different category such as those listed above (advocacy, education, organizational highlight) to qualify for a stipend. The stipend will be disbursed following submission of this form. A copy of your organization’s W9 form is required.
By participating in this initiative, your organization grants CCALAC permission to reshare, reuse and repurpose your organization’s video to support association activities (with credit to your organization).
Are you ready to get started? Remember to view the video guide and submit your participation form no later than June 15, 2022. If you have any questions, please contact Taryn Burks at email@example.com.
We look forward to seeing your videos!
