SUMMARY:Retaining Community Health Center Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Until now\, health care organizations’ efforts to retain professionals focused on increasing compensation\, offering richer benefits\, and then implementing one-size-fits-all programs. Driven by employee engagement and exit surveys\, organizations addressed topics like recognition and communication with employee-of-the-month awards and town hall meetings\, following traditional thinking that these tactics would improve retention. Research\, however\, indicates that they don’t. This session presents the most important thing employees seek to stay longer – a supervisor they can trust.  \nBy attending this course\, attendees will be able to:  \n\nLearn why measuring turnover’s cost and implementing retention goals puts employee retention on the same plane as other business-driven objectives. \nLearn how to facilitate stay interviews with each member of your team. \nLearn how forecasting how long each employee will stay becomes an important overall retention component. \n\nPresented by Dick Finnegan\, Speaker\, Author\, and CEO\, C-Suite Analytics. \nRegister Now! \nComplimentary for CCALAC Members & Affiliates \nInstructor Biography: \nDick Finnegan is THE global turnover expert\, having cut turnover by 30% and more for healthcare\, manufacturing\, logistics\, distribution centers\, call center\, and other industries…and on all six inhabited continents. Dick has authored the top-selling SHRM-published book in history\, The Power of Stay Interviews\, along with four other books. BusinessWeek magazine has said\, “Finnegan offers fresh thinking for solving the turnover problem in any economy.” He has been similarly cited by Forbes\, Chief Executive Magazine\, and Consulting Magazine.   \nAs a supremely rated speaker\, Dick Finnegan opens executives’ eyes to turnover’s mega-impact on their productivity and profits\, and provides strongly-researched and business-driven ways to fix turnover\, comparing those same solutions to the ways organizations improve sales and service. He holds a bachelors and graduate degrees from The Pennsylvania State University and lives in Orlando\, Florida. \nThis training has been made possibly through the generous support of Kaiser Permanente.
