Customer Service in Community Health Centers March 2019 @ CCALAC Office

Join us for a comprehensive training that will equip clinic staff to provide exceptional customer service to patients. The training will focus on the components of excellent customer service including the clinic culture, the patient experience and how to provide customer service when it is difficult. Further, it supports the development of individual skills and helps clinic teams plan for agency wide improvement.

Participants will:
• Understand why we need excellent customer service;
• Discuss principles of good customer service and tips for improvement;
• Recognize what an excellent patient experience looks like;
• Realize the power of the patient-staff interaction;
• Learn strategies for working with difficult behaviors;
• Discuss options for clinic system improvements.

2019 Outreach & Enrollment Summit @ Palevsky Center - California Community Foundation

CCALAC, in partnership with CPCA and Community Health Councils, is excited to announce details of their 2019 Outreach and Enrollment Summit!

This one-day training event is an opportunity for LA outreach and enrollment (O&E) staff to disseminate best practices, share enrollment strategies, and connect with peers from the region. This year’s summit will feature in-depth, enroller-specific training on public charge and talking to immigrant patients about the proposed changes and health care coverage options.

Outreach Enrollment and Retention GraphicA new forum for on-the-ground Outreach and Enrollment (OE) leads to share challenges and successes, best practices, tools and resources, as well as receive program and policy updates that impact outreach, enrollment and retention operations. This group provides an ongoing opportunity for OE leads to engage with their peers and colleagues in order to maximize the enrollment and retention of clinic patients in coverage programs.

OER Peer Network meets the third Wednesday of the month, 9:30am – 11:30am at CCALAC.

NACHC Policy & Issues Forum @ Washington D.C.

CCALAC will be joining members in Washington D.C. for the annual National Association of Community Health Centers’ (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum trip from March 25-29, 2018.

Reigster with CCALAC to let us know that you are traveling to D.C. In order to be included in the Hill visits CCALAC is scheduling, you need to register with CCALAC. Members should plan to fly in and arrive by Monday, March 25, with legislative visits taking place Tuesday, March 26 through Thursday, March 28.
