Preparing for an OSV & V-OSV
November 6 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
One event on November 13, 2020 at 9:00 am
The “Preparing for an OSV & V-OSV” training will provide an in-depth review of HRSA’s Health Center Program Requirements, utilizing the latest Compliance Manual and OSV Site Visit Protocols as guides. We will review what is necessary to demonstrate compliance and how to best provide proof of compliance. The training, over the course of two days (November 6th and 13th) will take a deep dive into critical operational, governance and financial program elements that have shown to be difficult for most Health Centers to demonstrate compliance, including, but not limited to: Sliding Fee Discount Program, Credentialing & Privileging, QI/QA, Procurement, Billing and Collections, and Governance.
The training will provide tips and suggestions on how best to prepare your team and facilities to ensure a smooth site visit with HRSA. We will also cover the logistics that go into preparing for a virtual OSV (V-OSV). Through case studies, templates, and tools, attendees will receive a full overview of recommended strategies to demonstrate compliance.
The training will be interactive. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, seek guidance, and to hear from peers on how they have addressed and found success in meeting program compliance.
After the training, participants will:
- Gain a greater understanding of how to demonstrate HRSA health center compliance for your upcoming OSV, utilizing the latest HRSA Compliance Manual and Site Visit Protocols
- Identify simple solutions to ensure compliance in critical elements of the compliance manual
- Identify ways to increase internal capacity to properly prepare for upcoming V-OSVS and OSVs
