IHQC Learning Lab: Designing a QI Project
January 30 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Do you have a new project you need to launch in 2020 but aren’t sure where to begin? Join colleagues from health centers across LA County at an IHQC Learning Lab on Designing a QI Project. Anchoring off of IHQC’s Design and Planning Phase Checklist, participants will explore strategies and templates to guide them through important stages of designing a QI project – reviewing your organization’s priorities and drivers, understanding the current state, brainstorming change ideas and mapping out your theory of change, and creating a project plan.
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Identify potential connections with their project idea/theme and current organizational goals/priorities.
- Have a plan in place, and knowledge of what tools to use, to better understand how the current systems and processes are working.
- Create a first draft of a Driver Diagram outlining their project’s theory of change.
- Leverage sample project plan templates and review important considerations for drafting a project work plan.
This session is FREE to safety net organizations in LA County, thanks to the generous support of the Cedars-Sinai Community Benefit Giving Office.Participant Eligibility:This session is open to staff, providers, and leadership from community health centers and county health agencies in Los Angeles County.
