OSHA requires appropriate staff be regularly fit-tested as part of an organization’s Respiratory Protection Program. This training will provide attendees with a basic set of solutions and understanding to be able to construct the framework for an Infection Control Program. The Train-the-Trainer model is designed for health care professionals who will be performing fit-tests at their respective organizations. Participation will include hands-on fit-testing and participants will receive FREE fit-testing kits to train other health center staff.

As a result of the training participants will:

  • Understand the basics and elements of a Respiratory Protection Program
  • Receive an overview of Cal/OSHA’s Aerosol Transmissible Disease Standard
  • Learn and practice how to fit-test other staff
  • Review 3M Fit Test Kits

Presented by John Ospital, Building Facilitator, Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Emergency Management Services.

Breakfast will be provided. Parking will be validated at the Union Bank Plaza lot only.
