Daily, managers and supervisors face the challenge of working through others to get things done. This course will show them how to successfully transition from team player to innovative leader. They will learn how to motivate employees, establish credibility and authority necessary to organize shifting priorities, and work through difficult behavior and conflict.
By the end of the training attendees will be able to:
- Identify ways to make the leap from staff to management;
- Develop strategies to boost employee productivity, morale, and commitment;
- Discuss methods to manage multiple projects and priorities;
- Summarize supervisory balance and self-management.

Two sessions will be offered on May 3, 2019, from 8:30am-11:30am or 12:30pm-3:30pm. Breakfast will be provided for the morning session and lunch will be provided in the afternoon session. Parking will not be validated. There will be a second series held on May 17, 2019, “Coaching & Teambuilding Skills for Managers or Supervisors.” Save $100 by enrolling in both courses. Separate registration costs $500 for both courses, or $400 combined.
