Communication is one of the skills that can have the greatest impact on effective healthcare delivery and successful patient engagement. However, we often neglect to practice and refine our communication skills. This interactive workshop will support IPEP Member Clinics in improving their communication skills and, in turn, improving the effectiveness of their teams.
This training is for clinics participating in the Improving Patient Experience Project only. Please feel free to send up to 3 staff per clinic.
As a result of this training participants will:
- Review common barriers to effective communication with your project teams
- Learn tips for communicating successfully with peers and leadership
- Explore and practice a model for engaging with your teams in difficult conversations
