Core Skills for Middle Managers

Middle managers are the mighty middle and carry a big load. They translate big-picture goals into daily action, keep teams moving, manage up, coach down, and solve problems sideways. They somehow answer 47 questions before lunch—all while keeping the wheels on the bus as someone keeps changing the route. To succeed, they must clearly understand their role as the critical link between senior leadership and frontline teams, while communicating goals in ways that are simple, actionable, and aligned. 

 This 3-hour course helps middle managers sharpen the core skills they need to lead with more clarity, confidence, and consistency. Participants will learn how to build trust and credibility through emotional intelligence, manage competing priorities when everything feels urgent, and maintain emotional resilience to stay effective under pressure. The course also focuses on strengthening accountability in a way that drives results while keeping team morale intact.
