Supervisors understand that managing people is a lot like coaching a team. Skills such as motivation and inspiration must be combined to encourage cooperation while developing leadership. This course helps Managers develop knowledge and skills within clinic settings to translate average workers into future leaders and conflicts into opportunities. Attendees will learn how to move teams forward and get them to consistently perform at a peak level.
By the end of the training attendees will be able to:
- Define coaching and teambuilding strategies and tactics that help employees to optimum achievement;
- Discuss strategies for developing a results oriented team;
- Describe how to become a positive team leader who achieves maximum results;
- Recognize the skills and behaviors necessary for effective leadership.

Two sessions will be offered on May 17, 2019, from 8:30am-11:30am or 12:30pm-3:30pm. Breakfast will be provided for the morning session and lunch will be provided in the afternoon session. Parking will not be validated. When also enrolled in the “Excelling as a Manager or Supervisor,” on May 3rd, save $100 by enrolling in both courses. Separate registration costs $500 for both courses, or $400 combined.
