We are pleased to announce a NextGen Provider Training Webinar Series in partnership with OCHIN. This series is intended to train Providers on best practices for commonly used templates and workflows in order to advance user knowledge of the system and improve overall efficiency.

This webinar will demonstrate how to document immunizations within a Well Child visit so that the information will properly update the Peds Wellness Immunization template. Staff will learn how to update the Peds Wellness Immunization template to accurately complete immunizations with the proper immunization status, as well as updating the immunization line items to add approved comments and indicate if the line item is a new or existing issue. On the Peds Wellness Finalize template, staff will be instructed how to view the information for accuracy and update it to indicate the patient’s WIC current status and Next CHDP visit date.

Audience: Billers and Support Staff who support CHDP visits on NextGen

Participants will:

  • Understand where to document within the Pediatric Well Child visit support staff workflow to automatically update items on the Peds Wellness Immunization and Finalize templates.
  • Understand how to review the Peds Wellness Immunization and Finalize templates and how to update the patient’s visit immunizations to indicate the correct status and update comments on the immunization line items.
  • How to document Peds Wellness Finalize template to show the patient’s current WIC status and Next CHDP visit date.

Non-User Group registration costs $75  per location for a single webinar training and $500 if purchasing all 8 sessions per location.
